The cabinets! They are clean and beautiful — and the stove top and fridge too, and the corners of the rooms! It’s interesting that you make the strong and logical connection between the uncluttered mind and the uncluttered space: they are both like mirrors to me. The more cluttered my brain is, the less likely I am to be able to effectively unclutter my physical space. Ever since you started helping me, I have taken on about a closet and room per month and taken everything out then put back only what is still in use, donated the rest. Last month I did Jing’s room and also the armoire in my bedroom. It is almost pathetic how happy it makes me! I thank you for this awareness.

I was just going to email you. I went downstairs to do the laundry and saw that you had done it. HOW DID YOU DO ALL THIS IN ONE DAY? I am amazed! The windows sparkle, the floors shine, bedding done, all the usual hard work was accomplished plus you managed to work your magic on the bedrooms. Jing loved seeing a little group of pandas and one penguin with a hat on her shelf last night; in addition to all the organization. The floors are the same wood of course but they look better than they did when they were put down. I do have the furniture pads, I hadn’t gotten around to putting them on and I’m getting into COLOR. Painting is a good stress reliever! You have inspired me.

Thank you so much for all your work yesterday — I feel like the bar just keeps getting higher! I so appreciate that you were able to put the little protectors on all the chairs and sofa etc., and still have time to make the whole house sparkle, clean kitchen cabinets, help in Jing’s room etc. It still smells like a garden in here, Melon has not defeated the fragrance yet! Do you know where the tomatoes and kale came from that were on the counter?

I cannot believe how much work you got done in this house! I feel like you must have spent the weekend here, not just one day! Everything is sparkling clean and tidy (even towels washed and folded, under the sink cabinet washed out, stove looking like new!). It feels like spring to me despite the sub-zero temps. Thank you from all of us — we collapsed into bed last night and the last words spoken were how amazingly wonderful it felt to come to a house that looked and smelled so great!
